Wow! What a busy term.
That’s it for 2019! Life is really interesting when you’re running a business based around activities for children; so much to consider and to do! But we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Through our Project Based Learning (PBL) the kids have begun to understand and increase their ‘little tradie’ skills in the areas of hammering, sawing, nailing and much more plus having lots of fun along the way. They’ve been busy producing angled picture frames, the most awesome billy cart, fixing bikes, connecting batteries and LED lights and creating some of their own ideas through the ‘blue box of mystery’.
Although our re-enrolments were down from Term 3 due to summer sport, we increased our new enrolments by 31%. We expect to see a number of previously enrolled children back in Term 1, 2020! We had 7 classes in total with the most popular classes being our 3:30pm time slot.
Some exciting announcements:
- We are opening an additional workshop in Balgowlah – 8/2 Paton Pl, Balgowlah
- We have a new supporter in Hall & Hart Homes. They will be helping to fit out Balgowlah.
- We are opening our 1st round investment into the future of Little Tradies. Please email me if you would like to invest in a little bit of our future!
Thank you for your continued support, feedback and belief in Little Tradies!
Wishing you and your family a fantastic and safe festive season!
Warwick and the LT team!
